I agree, that we can't shoot down a whole album because of one track. I've been pretty happy with CC in the past, so hopefully they won't disappoint.

Theeeeere we go. Celestica's loving awesome! This is the CC I love, except it sounds significantly less chiptune.

Mother Knows Best is more on the annoying side of CC, though, but definitely not as bad as Doe Deer.

A lot of work. Pretty much just spent the first day running around and working. Stayed with Tommy an extra day, but I ended up just spending all day working on pictures and dealing with allergies from the dust.

If you haven't yet you should check out Mux Mool's new album Skulltaste. Stylistically it's all over the place, a bit of instrumental hip hop here, some IDM there, but overall it's very electro.

Yeah. It's sad, because I think he's sort of talented, and he has a few awesome songs (I love "Arguru" and "So There I Was") but a lot of his poo poo is just boring as gently caress.

I think its pretty chilled out. If I want floor breaking house music I have plenty I can listen to. I can listen to his albums front to back, I just gotta be in the right mood. His live shows are amazing though and the crowd goes insane.

Also, that set-up owns. Love his sense of humor, as silly and nerdy as it may be and he is very vocal with his fans.

Kaskade's main label Om Records down in San Francisco is one of the biggest and imo most consistently good American deep house labels, I haven't had a bad compilation album from them and they've released a bunch. Mark Farina - Air Farina along with his Mushroom Jazz mix series are generally considered to be must have classics but IMO he's only okay, he's kind of a legend but there are better deeper cuts out there. Essentials... hard to pick. I think you'd like Trentemoller - The Last Resort a lot. Really just keep digging, I also replied a few artists to you in the recommendation thread.

Read the OP. There are so many blogs there that are pretty much the Mecca of new, cool, and hip electro music.

Specifically, I'd check out:

1.) http://curbcheckyouhavethecon.blogspot.com/ (Pretty sure this is our OP's blog, and his youtube channel is equally impressive as much of the music he finds goes into a personal collection he makes for the channel.)

and

2.) http://bangingbeat.blogspot.com/

They are your Bible(s). Cherish them and furiously hit the refresh button until new music appears.
