Off-topic, but I actually liked the word filter back when I didn't have an account and was just reading through the amazing Animal Crossing LP. I was sorta disappointed when I found out there wasn't a way to turn it back on, and I don't care how much of a scrub that makes me.

One of the best parts of lurking was noticing how your brain starts to auto-translate the word filter while reading. Of course, then it starts doing it even when you're not browsing SA and you get terribly confused with anything off-site that has "enjoyable human being" or "loving" in it.
