I really don't like the new art style, but Kazutaka Kodaka owns my soul, so I'm obligated to buy it and play the new scenario. Also, it's funny how Nagito sounds significantly older, but Monokuma's the same as ever. Brian Beacock's just that good, I suppose.

Every chapter will be somebody murdering Komaeda and every chapter he will somehow come back or be brought back, prompting increasingly brutal murders in an attempt to finally get it to stick. He will of course love this and begin assisting his murderers and setting up traps for the investigators. Use me as a stepping stone, for hope, or something. In Chapter 3 he will be both victims.

Upon thinking about it, I'm starting to wonder if they're pulling a similar trick to Danganronpa V3, with the "V3 = 53" twist. So "Danganronpa 2x2" could turn out to be "Danganronpa 4", and the twist is that the "alternate scenario" was secretly a sequel. The Danganronpa 3 anime did end with all but one of the DR2 cast surviving, and they could explain Chiaki's presence with another AI. This does also explain why they're remaking the second game with an alternate scenario before the first. I would be impressed and pleasantly surprised if they had the balls to follow through on that. Even though I absolutely loving adore Komaeda, his original story is a hard one to top. If he sticks around long enough to not be the first death shocker, but ends up as a more mid-game death instead, it'd just feel weak and disappointing imo. But then if he does stick around till the endgame, either his new story doesn't stack up in comparison to his old chapter 5 mindfuck, or it does... but that probably detracts from the chance to let other characters shine this time around. Especially the Ultimate Imposter! I'm assuming he'll be staying around longer even if Komaeda isn't the one who tags in as first victim. I'd really love to see him take a more central role in the story.

somehow despite playing danganronpa 2 multiple times I didnt figure out until recently you can slow down the moving letters in hangman's gambit... i mean it still sucks but it's way easier that way, lol

The only actually good minigame addition in the sequels was Scrum Debate (and that was 80% because of the music). Or was the minigame actually called Split Opinion and everyone just called it Scrum because that's what the soundtrack called it? Psyche Taxi wasn't the worst, I guess. And they did improve PTA a bit.
