My dog one year ago when he showed up on my front porch with fleas, heartworms, roundworms, flatworms(?), and significantly underweight. One of the neighbors saw someone throw him out of their car so we took him in. The vet thinks it was because of the owners not wanting to treat his heartworms.  My dog today. Possibly the most laid back creature known to mankind. Also just got his final heartworm free certification after completing treatment.

I was mad jealous of all the dog handlers in Afghanistan. An Australian yelled at me for petting his bomb dog, but I didn't care. It was worth it.
