This is Jawa. She is a smol pupper I am dogsitting for a coworker:

I made her an origami sailor hat as a present. It is too big for her head but she was a sport and held it on long enough for a picture.

I may or may not spend the rest of the day googling origami clothing items.

We took Pit Pat to Petsmart yesterday to get his nails trimmed. He raised such a fuss, and was flinging himself around so much, that after the rear nails, they said they couldn't finish, they were afraid he'd hurt himself. Didn't charge us, said come back today, maybe he'd be calmer.

He wasn't. They trimmed the front nails, but said if they had all four paws to do, they would have said no. Said we should take him to the vet for future trimmings.

Little dramatic jerk. I'm sure they weren't even touching him half the time.

Yeah, Margo freaks out really badly as well. We have the vet do it when she is put under for dental cleanings or anything else (she had some parasite issues when we adopted her so she went under a few times). If one of those trips isn't coming up, we wait until she is relaxed and lying down on her then cut the worst nail. We can usually get one done that way but if she's struggling at all you can't do it because we tend to cut into the quick if we try and hold her still. Turns out even a 65lbs dog is pretty strong.

This is what fascinates me most in existence: the peculiar necessity of imagining what is, in fact, real.

This was a little while ago, but thread meet Pogi (Poji? not sure how it's spelled):

A little hard to get a good pic of him since it was at a party and he was very excited.

Him staring down his nemesis of the day who wasn't too pleased about a very excited pup invading his home.
