I'm loving the gently caress out of Michelle on CBB. She went from being a UK unknown to, as of today, leading with the bookies as potential winner. Also, she seems like a good moderating influence on Katie Hopkins 'cause Katie doesn't want to gently caress with her and so is civil with everyone as a consequence. Never watched Big Brother before and probably never will again after this series, but Michelle is charming.

Each season is filmed over the course of only a couple of weeks. I really think the first couple of years, Ru didn't look at any of the footage before making her decision, and didn't really have any idea that the fans would be so opinionated about who they felt should win. I think this really contributed to why they decided to announce the winner live, and not just because it leaked in advance that Raja won season 3, although that was certainly a major factor. So with Tyra, what Ru saw was an incredibly polished queen who was willing to go all the way to get what she wanted, e.g. hot gluing bits of fabric to her skin. I don't believe Ru saw any of the talking head moments, or any of the interaction with the other queens. So, Ru didn't know that Tyra basically had no personality other than "annoying" and that the other queens generally disliked her.
