Where do your organs even go in something that tight? That cannot be healthy to wear for as long as they do. If I'm remembering right they're in drag for upwards of 6 hours on mainstage days? Between getting ready, mainstage, mainstage again (they do two runway walks), Untucked, lip sync, and the post-lipsync de-dragging phase that's got to be a longass time for you to be in a corset that tight.

I fly to Disney World at like midnight March 3 fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck. Looks like I'm going to tap the app to try watch it live while at the airport or on the way there. At least I'm going with my mom who loves RPDR too so she understands my pain. I try to catch them by: - having other friends in my city who follow that queen - following local promoters for gay clubs on twitter and facebook/gay clubs' twitter and facebook pages - leafing through magazines for the gay scene in my city (which was how I found out that I missed Ongina for the *second* time) - checking their twitter feeds every now and then to see if they're in my state, since not all of them even update their website calendars. It's still frustrating. I feel like it shouldn't be that hard to make an app and check a box that to give permission send out an alert when a queen is in your state/city/etc.

I went to the BOTS in Seattle last night, was really excited about the line-up. Bianca was as expected hilarious and hateful, Ivy definitely is more exciting on stage than on the show (she did about 7 costume changes over one song, juggled knives, and escaped a trunk and a pair of handcuffs), Manila and Raja did an anime nightmare Baby Metal lip-synch. Phi-Phi ended up being one of my favorites of the night, from her Power Rangers Rita act to the mini-snatch game where she played Gia Gunn (complete with the hula hoop bag and an entire wig track glued to her eyelash). Willam was also there throwing the unofficial after party so I got to see her walking up and down the event queue handing out flyers. The show started late though so I had to head home right after. I do wish I had asked her what shoes she was wearing because I want a pair.

It's a great idea, but seems kinda buggy/unfriendly UI. I'm keeping it hoping for a patch/update - at present I have no idea how to follow a queen, only to save a performance. Still a cool idea though! I just got back from a Philly season 7 event/prescreening of the new episode, hosted by Shangela, Mimi, and one of the cute little gay boys from guide to fabulousness or whatever that show is. It was loving fantastic. We saw the whole episode up to who would be lip synching, but including the winning queen it's Tempest, Jasmine, and Kandy in the bottom. Violet wins the challenge. Six of the season 7 queens performed, along with Shangela and Lady Bunny (!) and it was amazing. There was also a guy just gyrating around on stage in glittery blue paint, a sequined loincloth, and a metallic diamond mask for like an hour before the show. Good things All six performances were great; we saw Jayden, Jasmine, Katya, Kennedy, Max, and Trixie. Special props to Katya, who was clearly crowd favorite, and Kennedy, who I wasn't all that jazzed about before I saw the episode/her performance tonight. Bitch did some moves in six-inch heels. At one point she lamded a cartwheel with a split. On a four foot wide runway surrounded by tables. I feel sorry for anyone who has to lip sync against her. The other queens were also amazing. Jasmine seems like she would be awesome to have a drink with. So talented and sweet. It's a shame, I don't think anyone expects her to do very well. Also Pearl and Trixie (especially Trixie  ) are gorgeous out of drag.

Well despite the airdate delays and the constant risk of bad casting, its looks like they didn't gently caress it up for season 7. Ep 2 was great and they still have the best editor on reality tv. The person that wins the ep 2 challenge is already my favorite. May they go onto well-monetized youtube fame. And Michelle and Carson seem to already be working well together in early days. Not that anyone expected the show to be worsened by Santino's absence. I hope the untuckeds are good, seems like there are some very thin skinned people on the set but nobody is yet showing themselves as a shade-throwing bookworm.
