There are plenty of other things that seem to be universal taboos, but you don't see nearly as many people have the same enthusiasm for necrophilia or bestiality, which are also incredibly repulsive.

Those are much harder to simulate than incest, but the enthusiasm is there. By far the most enthusiastic crowd tho seem to be the monsterfuckers

re incest stuff: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Westermarck_effect seems to be the predominant explanation for any genetic attraction effects based upon the limited papers I've read in the past.RFC2324 posted:By far the most enthusiastic crowd tho seem to be the monsterfuckers In my limited exposure to the area, interests in bestiality seem to be around a physical level. I don't think any of the women into monster banging I've met are remotely interested in farm animals or most wild animals unless there's some aspect of being able to emotionally connect and communicate with them. At the very least, they unanimously view dogs and cats for their emotional support typically and seem to have a very strong "friend zone" designation. necrobobsledder fucked around with this message at 20:08 on Feb 9, 2025 |

As far as I know (and it's been a while since I took a sex and gender psychology course) there is no known human culture that lacks an incest taboo. It is what's considered incest that varies.

That's a good question. I would definitely say they're adjacent to it at a bare minimum, with some unidentified proportion of that community actually being full-on zoophiles. Someone should really do a study on them. They're incredibly poorly studied for how long they've been around as a social group.

I used to know someone who had a few furry friends and was curious enough to get invited to a do. They told me that just being in the same room as a furpile was among the most nauseating things they had ever experienced. Their precise description, which has stayed with me for over twenty years and will likely still be there with not a letter forgotten when dementia has erased everything else, was "imagine a frot gangbang where nobody has washed themselves or their clothes since the last frot gangbang". So, yeah. It's not that nobody wants to study the sex lives of furries from an anthropological perspective. It's that nobody can do the work and remain sane.

I suppose you could also consider Bad Dragon products to be on the bestiality spectrum, which is wild considering how popular their products are. Maybe I was wrong and bestiality is more popular than I thought, just in a more diluted form. Necrophilia, though, that's the one thing you'll never see anyone openly admit to being interested in. You don't even see wink wink nudge nudge references to it. For the best, because that's incredibly disgusting and abhorrent.

I just did a quick google search and found over ten years' worth of furry research papers. I don't know how much of this involves furries' sex lives, but people are studying furries and their social groups. I only know a few furries and I'm not involved in their communities. But when I've talked to them it's been more about taking on a different personality and body than being on the bestiality spectrum. This also applies to people who engage in pupplay or ponyplay.

Considering that there must be Furries with Anthropology PhDs by now, I'm sure there is some well-funded "research" going on somewhere.

first thing I would look out for—are you sharing symptoms with your analingus partner? what symptoms do you have? in what way have you been sick recently? something specific you’re concerned about (a cold, a stomach bug, a possible parasite, etc) or just generally feeling like you might have caught a general bug like you might get from touching a public doorknob, etc? if your partner is sick or carrying some common pathogen, you can usually also get sick just by being in close proximity with them, sharing close contact, etc. You can kiss them on the face or mouth and get sick from them, you don’t have to just go to the butt for that (people will absolutely shed pathogens through their butt tho).
