BL aside, I'd be down for a gag manga where Shirou masters Chinese food and Kotomine just drops Rin like a leper and decides that Shirou's his pupil now (and also his roommate).

Shirou's opinions on spicy Chinese food are nicely summarized by his mental image of Rin teaching Sakura Chinese cooking: Dojo Mode Rin setting his stove on fire.

I'd like to think that Italian class servant Batali would use a giant cheese wheel as his noble phantasm.

Yes, it's called the regular version. Most of the sex scenes are cordoned off to the Eclipse, and you can just close your eyes and skip through the one mandatory one if it bothers you that much. EDIT: Honestly, "skip through the scenes with the characters you don't like" is probably the best way to enjoy HA. BlitzBlast fucked around with this message at 06:21 on Dec 4, 2014 |

Shirou walks in on Saber changing, and before he can leave Taiga shows up. Since Taiga + teenage shenanigans is a recipe for disaster, Saber hides in the closet. Taiga isn't fooled and throws it open, only to find Saber in her brilliant disguise. Both Saber and Shirou are hoping she'll ignore the armor. She doesn't. No, she just assumes Saber's into cosplay, and drops the bomb that she's totally noticed Dark Sakura and Rider's crazy battle outfit. She figures it's a phase they're all going through.

Someone remind me, how big of a spoiler is Dark Sakura? I'd love to show the first segment of Carnival Phantasm to my friends someday, but the very first eyecatch is a fullscreen shot of her, and I don't want to wait until the HF movie comes out.

I wouldn't say her existence is that big of a spoiler. If they ask, and they're playing the VN, just tell them it comes up in HF.

Yeah her exsistence is not but her changing into dark sakura does play a major part. It starts off with a powerful shadow thing and ends with dark sakura

Agreed, the shadow and Dark Sakura are the biggest reveals of HF. Just like 'Shirou is the red man' from UBW.

Kubla Khan posted:Agreed, the shadow and Dark Sakura are the biggest reveals of HF. Just like 'Shirou is the red man' from UBW. Yeah, I guess it's a bigger deal since it has the shadow and whatnot. I forgot that was actually a big mystery in the early bits of HF. That said, if they watched Fate/zero, they've already had basically the entire reveal spoiled for them. (I have to wonder about the cross section between people who watched F/0 before reading the VN and people who don't like the first half of HF. It's gotta be pretty big.)

If I remember right Sakura being Rins sister is a big reveal too in HF but all the animes pretty much straight out say it at one point. I'm sure at this rate UBW anime will reveal it too for some reason.

SALT CURES HAM posted:Yeah, I guess it's a bigger deal since it has the shadow and whatnot. I forgot that was actually a big mystery in the early bits of HF. Not really. You know that her background sucks and all that, but the idea that she's the one controlling the shadow and killing people (and not merely possessed by it) is something the story holds back for quite a long time. They try to play her up as a pure victim prior to that, and knowing her backstory from Zero kind of means that you're even more inclined to buy that.

I know it's a fandisk, but I'm really surprised at Hollow Ataraxia's willingness to show the characters drinking alcohol, to say nothing of Rin driving around that convertible with a cigarette hanging out of her mouth. Jojo's laid a huge black censor bar when Jotaro smoked, and that was plot related.
