This was a good ep, but after hearing the gang lament the lack of William Hung I'm definitely going to submit God Bless America for the next listener request month so they can see how thankful they should be that the movie didn't have strong opinions on that particular piece of pop-culture effluent. Also I would watch their version of the movie where instead of terrorists it's gleep-glop aliens.

This may be the most tangent-y episode in a long time. I think in the middle half hour they talk about the movie for maybe five minutes. Not that I'm complaining, the tangents are pretty great this week. I really like the episodes where the gang can poke fun at the ridiculous realities in the film - rather than the actors, characters or plot. The whole preposterousness of The Skulls' initiations and gifts is a real "how would this even work in reality?" riff.
