I like that the whole gamut of prank calls from the Jerky Boys have now become a running gag. I never knew I wanted to hear an Arnold impersonation going "Hello, sizzle chest" until the T2 episode.

I’m honestly shocked they didn’t dip into Arnold soundboard jokes when the prank call bit popped up. “Hi, how are you”

the part in the T2 episode where I lost my poo poo was them riffing on Arnold singing Van Morrison songs. "I'm gonna ride this motorbike into the mystic"

I appreciate how Steve will almost always name drop the movie they're riffing on. They did a sequence on Before the Devil Know's You're Dead during the Star Wars episode and I had no idea what the quotes or voices were from until Steve named it as a quick aside. Really like that he does that.

I'm a year late to the party, but I finally saw Pottersville and holy poo poo what was that even supposed to be? As I believe someone ITT posited, I'm not sure it was originally supposed to be comedic. It was clearly hacked to death in editing- I can conceive of a longer cut of it that makes sense, but I can't conceive of any cut of it that's actually funny.

I would almost like that film if Michael Shannon wasn't replaced my Thomas Lennon for the second half. If it was just Michael Shannon drinking, howling and F-grade fursuiting, it would have been a recommended film. I don't know if it had a darker conception and was edited into a light comedy. It was likely conceived as a black comedy, or a surreal PG-13 comedy.

The guys being hesitant to say "Sand People" in the Star Wars episode because it might be an in-universe slur is pretty much peak WHM.

We Love Movies month is awesome, but I was so disappointed during the Back to the Future episode that when the WHM theme popped up in the middle of the episode, it was just an ad, not some time travel gag.

I've been listening to old episodes to go to sleep to recently, and those same two ads have popped up in the middle of old episodes too. Kind of a bummer.

Main feed is at least 500 hours of content by now, some episodes having a few minutes of ads seems incredibly reasonable to me. Especially since they add some flair to it. Promo Code: HATE
