Does anyone else feel like this season has less energy than previous seasons? I'm not sure if it's the queens all being super talented, the lack of a clear villain, or what...

Yes. It's a little boring compared to the last few seasons. I don't think all the queens are super talented. I think it's mostly amateur hour this season.

I was going to say that I'm actually enjoying this season, but when I think about it, it's not really the new episodes I look forward to each week, but rather Untucked and Katya's RuGrets. You see a lot more of the queens' personalities there. I would probably dislike this season too if I was just watching the show.

I really want them to tear shreads off some of those outfits. They can be too nice at times, mainly Raja. Kennedy's Leather/Lace look was hideous, but her hair and wigline was the most offensive thing. Not to mention Jaiden Dior Fierce's increasingly ratty ensembles. . It makes me miss Joslyn Fox's necklace from last season. It was always consistant. Even if the rest of the outfit wasn't.

Has anyone here seen Patricia's Love, Like or Loathe? It's essentially Fashion Photo Ruview if it was hosted by a fans mother who doesn't watch the show and knows little of drag. While I don't usually agree with her choices, it's super charming and I'm hooked. Also while she try's to be polite, she can throw some sweet shade. "It doesn't look to me like she's going anywhere special. I'm gonna loathe that"

Oh I've seen those on Reddit before. Basically her opinion is the opposite of everyone else on the planet and she throws shade in the nicest way possible  She's such a doll and the editing is top notch. 4 out of 5 stars.

Even at this stage, I feel that there's no clear winner this season. However, it got me thinking, who is most likely to receive Miss Congeniality this year? Anyone have any favourites? My guess is that it might be Max (fans who were sad to see her go after doing so well a la Ongina) or Miss Fame (she seems sweet and her moment with Katya was something). Still, there's a lot left to go. Only reason I'm not suggesting Katya is that I'm betting she'll be top 3. By the way, anyone know why Katya's Tumblr is called Mom's Gold Teeth? Sounds like there's a story there.

I think Max, since she a few prominent moments where she was supportive of other queens (i.e. Jaidynn and Pearl, who are well liked themselves), and she generally didn't throw shade. Her elimination episode might leave people sour, though. If not her, I'd love to see Violet make a huge transformation into a sweetheart and snatch it. Although, I also want to see her in the top three as well.

there's currently an absurd rumour going around that Katya is going home tonight and, should that be the case, I fuckin' quit. Fame would make a pretty great Miss Congeniality; she's a total sweetie to other queens now that she's kinda gotten her sea legs in this competition. I think the younger queens were just freaked out by how bizarre filming is.

For a moment I was actually worried that Jasmine was going to come back and I would have quit. But everything turned out how it should have. I don't really get the judges' love for Kennedy. I thought her's and Jasmine's look was just as boring as Miss Fame's and Kandy's.

Darienne Lake, Delta Work, Phi Phi O'Hara, and Rebecca Glasscock all occupied the same slot. It's not that queens who occupy the slot aren't fabulous (or that they're even necessarily mean), it's that they're not quite as polished as the other girls and I think we're supposed to dislike them for surviving so long above their pay grade. That, in addition to getting an edit that doesn't produce a super flattering image, generates an audience's enmity real easy. So glad that Trixie is back! Katya's conjoined costume was my favorite, but Trixie's performance with Pearl made her the instant winner. Trixie is a lock for Miss Congeniality if she doesn't make final 3. Also, I totally did not remember Sasha AT ALL. When he was wandering around the work room I was absolutely confused as to who he was, at first thinking that maybe a crew member was in the shot. I wish Tempest lasted a bit longer, I was weirdly rooting for her (I am also a professor of Costume Design, so...)

With all the challenges this season being acting challenges, we've really had very, very little time in the workroom. Also, I've noticed that it's becoming a thing where Ginger has a smoking minute at the end of every Untucked every week.
