I think this season would have been pretty fun with s3-style assignments. Instead we got a clumsy, tone-deaf debacle.

Kennedy isn't bad. Yeah sure her outfits aren't great and the chicken costume will go down as the worst look in Drag Race, but she's performed decently in a good number of challenges and her Snatch Game is fantastic. I'm mot saying Kennedy should win; I think Ginger or Violet both deserve it more, but Kennedy definitely deserves her current spot in the show.

No, of course, I didn't do everything perfectly, and as a creative person with unreasonably high standards and expectations for himself, I am hardly ever satisfied with anything I do. It's a blessing and curse--a curse, well, for my self-esteem, but a blessing, in that it constantly propels me forward.

As for the elimination, the fun of this show is that you get to talk about it, lament it, scream and shout about it from the mountain top, and hem and haw all the live long day about your fave and what you think should or should not have happened. You can call Ru crazy, say it was the season of bad decision making. That's all fine and good! I've done the same thing for 6 seasons!

If you want to know Larry King's 2 cents about it, or anything else, follow him on twitter (@kingsthings) and if you wanna know mine, here it is: I could not be happier with how the show portrayed me. That was the real me. For all this talk of shady editing, and I'm not saying people don't get a raw deal from time to time, I am blessed that I didn't. And as far as the challenge goes, my outfit was crappy and I lost that lip-sync. (Props where its due tho--my BFF character was off the chain) That's just my 2 cents, and it was obviously Ru's as well, and I certainly don't begrudge her for that. And I certainly don't have anything but real love, deep respect, and total affection and admiration for Kennedy for not only turning out one of the most sensational lip-sync performances of the entire series, but for being a real friend to me, a friend that I most certainly would not have ever made had I not been on the show.

I know she is a grown rear end woman, and doesn't need me to defend her rear end, but it breaks my heart to see her dragged on social media, because it betrays her talent, which is undeniable. We can both be talented, and she can win the lip-sync and I can still be amazing, which I am. I know this is all part and parcel of the reality TV competition game, especially at this point in the show when the viewers don't want to see their faves go home, but believe me, I've already won plenty because of this competition. And I have A LOT MORE IN STORE FOR YOU, you can drive that down to Fiorucci boulevard and sell it.

Yeah, this last episode was heartbreaking. I really really don't understand all of the love Kennedy is getting this season - whoever posted last page that "Ru loves a ghetto queen" may be right, but that's just my opinion and others are free to like/love her.

I just feel like half of the fun of this show is that the audience, whether Ru likes it or not, is also on the judging panel. We're critiquing the performances and the runway looks and making our own mental top/bottom three, and so, so many times this season the actual result has been blatantly "making a storyline" or defying common sense.

It's Kennedy/Pearl in particular this season that, despite their obvious talents, seem to have received a "Go to top 3 free" pass for basically no reason, and that really bothers me.

Kennedy won the Spoof episode with a decidedly mediocre/emotionless performance, when it clearly should have gone to Jaidynn's Bianca. There was absolutely no reason she should have gotten a pass on that Death Becomes Her look either, it was deplorable. Why is it this season that 90% of the challenges are group challenges and despite that suddenly noone's able to be judged as an individual? I'm willing to give her Little Richie being male a pass, but her Snatch Game performance was tame in comparison to Ginger or Pearl, yet again everything came up Kennedy.

As for Pearl- as much as I love her, those lip syncs, eesh. Power Arms!! Power Arms!!! Power Arms!! (And to be quite honest, I don't know why she got a pass on that Hello Kitty look, that was some snuggie/pez dispenser realness.)

One way or the other, what's done is done

As terrible as it is that Katya didn't make top 3, I think in the grand scheme of things it doesn't matter if she didn't win. She won our hearts, and our money when we pay to see her or buy her shirts or just throw it straight at her. Developing a crazy fan base is probably better and more profitable in the long run than winning and fading into obscurity.

I think there was a moment on the most recent Untucked where Katya said something about the "Reddit Haters", but then it occurred to me that everyone loves her, possibly even Reddit! So, despite whomever wins I really think Katya is going to have a lot more lasting power than this season's winner. The internet has spoken. Katya > Everyone else!

I haven't seen anything about Bebe outside of Drag U, Tyra has dropped off the face of the earth, Sharon let fame get to her and most of her old fans from the show don't even care about her anymore.
On the other hand, Raja is still integrated into the WoW machine, Jinkx is doing a LOT (drag becomes him, musicals, tours, etc) and Bianca is doing tours and working on Hurricane Bianca. So far it's 50/50 as to winning getting you somewhere.
