as a fake cop you'd want to claim town investigatoins on town players. as a fake cop you'd also not want to call too many players town, otherwise you'll have less people to get mislynched later. thus you claim your investigation on somoene who is already confirmed town.

diqnol got the same role pm as i did, and im vanilla town. my role pm says 'you are peta number 7, the ninth peta clone' to paraphrase. meaning magnus copy pasted the role pms as he was sending them out and forgot to change the number. diqnol claimed to be the ninth peta, meaning he got the same role pm as me and magnus forgot to change it. thus he is mod confirmed town.

Oh, I thought of more reasons why you're all dumb. 1) Why would a scum claim cop for absolutely no reason? 2) Why would I say that I don't have my results for the day? 3) If I was scum and didn't want to confirm anyone as town but still had a deep and inexplicable desire to fakeclaim cop, why wouldn't I just say that I investigated a person who is now dead rather than confirm Diqnol as town? 4) Why would I make up a roleblock claim at the beginning of D2? Riddle me that, dumbos.
