So Salon has an article quote:If a parent learns that a child has been sexually abusing a sibling they are required to report this abuse to the appropriate child protection service agency in their area. If the child is over the age of 12 the child protection agency is required to report this behavior to the police. The police will decide whether to charge the perpetrator. Children under the age of 12 cannot be charged with an offense. While it may be incredibly stressful for a parent to report this behavior, not reporting it continues to put the victims in the home at risk. It also minimizes the possibility that the offender will get appropriate treatment that will help prevent him from offending in the future. Is it really reasonable or helpful to 'require' parents to turn their own children into the police? That seems like the 'then just don't have sex' argument towards teen pregnancy. No one's gonna do that. It seems like it might even make people less likely to report.

Serious question: what do the Quiverfull and associated fundies think of black/hispanic people? Obviously they hate brown people as filthy unclean heathen muslim/hindu/buddhists, but what do they think about black Christians? Obviously as rednecks they hate them, but I am curious as to how they justify it biblically. Do they use the Mormon "their skin is darkened because they are sinners" poo poo?

She had to homeschool five kids, and wasn't even allowed to use disposable diapers to make life easier. One of the reasons she drowned the kids was because she was convinced one of them would grow up to be a gay prostitute. The Quiverfull movement: death or molestation.
