here are some of my favorite highlights of the interview. But to be honest the whole interview is a highlight itself. - Inconsistencies with what exactly happened on each occasion. First it was just touching over the clothes. Then it was touching under the clothes "but, like, only for a few seconds". - Sent Josh to a man that more than likely is also a rapist. Probably a disgraced priest who was formerly caught diddling kids. - Fails to mention that they did send Josh to a professional therapist until they really had to throw it in. - "Josh had a soft heart" (but a rock hard dick) - Cop they reported it to was convicted of child pornography and is serving 56 years. - Suspect the police chief of having a lesbian agenda. Which is why she released the records shortly before she was planning on retiring. - They think the tabloid and news coverage is more traumatizing than the original molesting. As if any of these people have access to the news or tabloids. - Talked to other friends who were probably other hyper christian church members. They said that it "wasn't uncommon". - Jim Bob defining pedophilia as someone who is over 16 and preys on children. And says Josh was 15 so it was "a child preying on children". - Mom warns of transgenders going into women's locker rooms and molesting people. Later they say that their whole family shouldn't be attacked for the mistakes of one person. But they don't follow up and ask if Mom thinks that a community of people shouldn't be held accountable just because there may possibly be a small percentage of sexual deviants. I'm sure I'm forgetting things

I could only stand to watch part of the interview, but that comment Jim Bob made about "We talked to these other families and it [molestation] was quite common, and worse" was so insane. The phrasing they used when describing the timeline struck me as odd. Basically they said the first time he touched the two oldest girls when they were in bed, then he told his parents. The second time, he touched a few of the girls while they were sleeping on the couch, then he told his parents. Then the father said something along the lines of "he touched them on top of the clothing a couple more times," and "he touched them under the clothing a couple more times." Then he said "on the third time he touched them, he told us and we knew we were in over our head." So he touched them once, twice, a couple more times, a couple more times, then a third time?
