The morning I left on terminal leave, when the company was in formation waiting for the usual morning bullshit, I got up in front of the company and recited this speech from memory:

Then just before the 1SG and all the platoon sergeants came out of the office, I ran to my car and bounced.

Also the squad leaders wanted me to make PIR for them, so the Ranger students would have something to find on their bodies when they "died," to tell them where the next objective was. So I whipped poo poo up like this:

Frankly I don't know how I got away with half the poo poo I did at that unit. Although it's no surprise now that I have trouble getting dates. :haw:

Some of the other OPFOR dudes told me that when the Ranger students searched them after an engagement and found that intel, they read it and said "What the gently caress is this dungeons and dragons bullshit?!"

I'm not sure how much of what I did was true hardcore nerdery and how much was short-timing before my ETS and seeing how much I could get away with.
