In the dinner in the street scene he also said "Even you would be there" and they focused on an empty chair. It's pretty clear the 'us' is the tv-viewer.

savinhill posted:And breaking into Eliot's mom's house, strolling up in his room, snatching him out of bed, all without any noise whatsoever beforehand to warn him, followed by dragging him outside the house to beat him down without any protest or appearance by his mother or any neighbors or anything is more plausible? Yeah it is. Breaking into some old ladies house with your three goons vs breaking into a professionally controlled and monitored space is much more plausible. I wouldn't be surprised if they beat his mom up or waited for her to leave the apartment or any of another dozen plausible scenarios that would make his abduction from home much more likely than his getting jumped in a mental institution. Neighbors aren't really quick to jump to people's rescue late at night in New York. What we know for sure is that Elliot doesn't want to go back to his apartment, we don't know exactly why though. Until they show who it was that knocked on his door at the end of season 1 his choice of terminal could be for any number of reasons.

Finally caught up with this season but I fear I may have missed something at some point. What is the relationship between Joanna Wellick and the guy she was meeting with and ultimately had her driver kill? I don't recall him from season 1 and I think I may have missed an important scene explaining who he is and what he is doing. Or, which is also entirely possible, I'm not supposed to know at this point in the story.

He's the parking lot attendant who found Elliot in Tyrell's SUV, claiming he'd been parked for three days.

The synth music is back in the most recent episode. When Ray meets Elliot at the end the music that plays is similar to when he met Joanna last season.

I got the season 1 soundtrack and the score itself contains a fair amount of Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross tracks or modifications of them, particularly from Gone Girl. E.g. I'm pretty sure "Vera Liberated" is a version of "Consummation". I actually like the Mr. Robot season 1 score more than the Social Network and Gone Girl scores which is saying something. But using the Social Network score as placeholder in the pilot in this context makes perfect sense. There's also spotify playlists of all the non-score music floating around, or you can use Tunefind.
