Yeesh, yeah, every gun owner that she's referring to is an american gun owner, so that is supposed to be a circle within a circle.

The message is supposed to be ďlots of people, whether they own guns or not, support background checksĒ, but thatís not something a Venn diagram can convey.

Venn diagrams are only good for showing whether things overlap, not how much they overlap.

I guess you could use a pie chart or a stacked chart? But really the percentages alone are fine.

A loss.jpg reference is definitely not a joke, and I have no intention of making light of it. And it can be a tough and emotional thing for threads to go through, speaking from personal experience. And I know that it's often much harder on the reader than on the poster. However, I also know that it doesn't necessarily turn you into a sad, depressed sack of tears for the rest of your life. People can move past it, and heal.

But seriously. It's not a joke.

All American gun owners support background checks. Non-American gun owners, like Americans who don't own guns, oppose background checks.

The ones on the right aren't games companies, they're gaming news sites.

Ars Technica has been a tech news and analysis site for ages, I remember reading them mostly about hardware, new CPU technologies and such back in the day. Pretty sure that's how I first learned about VLIW architectures. Are they even that focused on gaming?

Ars reports on the social aspects more than anything, though they do occasional game reviews - mostly the big titles.
