In being first out the gate, Pink Floyd's Time benchmarks the time song with its Dark Side of the Moon cornerstone https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JwYX52BP2Sk The time song is usually as longwinded and all-encompassing as time itself, but interesting in its ambition to encompass all. They are few and far between, but these are my favorite two songs about time https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9eei6N3AIuM Not even sure who Andrew Bird is, but this song will stick with me forever, quite especially on my 55 3/8th's birthday. I'd expect some goons to identify with at least the careless misanthropy amidst the sprawling lyrics. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_NnO5e-K5Q8 Porcupine Tree nods to Pink Floyd with clocky guitar plinks and a metronomic bass break, but also one-ups them with a nearly 12 minute runtime and by adding "flies" to the end of the already generic song title. A worthy addition to the time song category, but this song will likely only appeal to prog rock fans who already know about it. So are there any more time songs that you guys know about, or am I just wasing my energy
