I like how it looks when you're looking at your videos but the rest of it is kind of eh.

I got into the beta as well, and while I can appreciate the concept and everything, it's pretty non-essential. If you watched the rundown at the end of the livestream for #1301, you've already seen everything it has to offer. It's cute, but getting another full season of the show was always going to be the main attraction and that's fine.

It feels like Joel had a lot of ideas about what he thought a website could be, but those ideas ran headfirst into a wall of practicalities. Comparing those concept drawings from the Kickstarter with the nearly-identical spaces that we got is underwhelming.

Maybe once they get the livestream/community functions up and running it'll be a different story, hopefully. Right now I can't see myself using it over the MST3K app.

Corny prop comedy? In a show about puppets making fun of bad movies created by a prop comic?

If you’ve ever played What The Dub (a fun, MST-like Jackbox style game), they’ve teamed up with Rifftrax to make Rifftrax: The Game! I’m very excited about this.

What exactly is the tribute to Manos? Screening the episode plus some banter from Joel?

It would be great if the mystery guest was Mike as Torgo and that was the only appearance he ever makes in the series.

It’s that, plus the premiere of a new short.

E: I didn’t see that it was a “watch along” thing, so probably a livestream of Manos with cast/crew on Zoom.

I imagine it'll be sort of like how they streamed the season premiere: live segments with Joel and the others at the beginning, middle, and end of the episode. Oh and they'll debut the first new short as well at some point.

And I guarantee the "mystery guest" is going to be Jackey Neyman-Jones. She 100% lives off anything and everything Manos-related.

Didn’t the Mads recently rewatch Manos and have her as a guest? It must have been them they watched the restored version and were like “This movie’s not that bad!”

I really like the way they have Jonah (mostly) and the others laughing at one others' riffs, much as during Mike's run.

Just watched Tormented from season 4 and I actually enjoyed the film. Not sure if binging the series is breaking my brain or if it was genuinely good.

Fun to see Tyrell from Blade Runner as a beatnik ferry captain that loves blackmail.
