I'd wager even the saltiest backer wouldn't poll higher than a 5 or 6. I'd be interested to see an age vs spending amount chart.

the thing that kills me with this whole "FUD" crap is that you can go and play Star Citizen right now you can go and play it and form your own opinions this whole "but but but IN THE FUTURE DREAM it'll be amazing!" never worked for any video game ever although to be fair, super empire strikes back pretty much fulfilled every dream I had as a kid who was deep into star wars

I've seen hard line backers ask the question "just imagine if they never took freelancer away from roberts' control, think of how much better it could have been". The reality is it wouldn't of even been released due to CRoberts bankrupting the studio over unrealistic goals. It's good to be ambitious when developing a game but you have to build the tech bit by bit over a number of projects as apposed to trying to make everything from the word go. CRoberts pedigree is no different than that of Molyneux, promise the world and then after years and a fuckload of money deliver a grain of sand.
