I know three people who own Louboutins and two of them have never worn them because they're scared they'll scuff the sole (which is the part I am led to understand is what makes them Louboutins?) and this will "ruin" the shoes. I think the difference is people who can afford these things will buy and use them and people who definitely can't afford them will buy them anyway and then realise how much money they spent and be terrified of ever causing them any harm. Like a citizen and their ships without LTI. My wife is an owner-not-wearer
