Going by the CG series at least his hands are also just bones. Also I believe the Keldor origin has technically been around since the original series though there it was only heavily implied by a comic story and not mentioned in the show itself

Skeletor is Skeletor because he identifies as skeleton, not just skull, and he believes in skeletonism not just skullism. Proof: in Revolution Hordak and Motherboard want to borg people with technology, but he QED

I wonder if the decision to make skeletor beefy has anything to do with the difficulty of casting a skeleton figure in plastic.

Voltron) are getting removed from the service presumably when their licensing contract runs out or something similar. I don't know if there's been a specific time frame given for She-ra though. (Note that per some reddit post, at least most of those shows have shown up later on Peacock.)

Looks like next year’s He-Man movie will send him to earth yet again: https://www.instagram.com/p/DGCXEg1uxY5/ Also a comic about Andra is in the works for July which could imply that a third season of the Kevin Smith series has been greenlit https://foreternia.com/2025/02/comi...-a-third-series

Also that sword looks like a piece of plastic holy poo poo. Dude playing Adam/He-Man looks good though. Hopefully they at least take the right lessons from Barbie if Mattel is at all serious about their commitment to He-Man being Barbie for boys. As for a third MotU:R series, I hope they get one, but I'm not optimistic. Revolution actually under-preformed Revelation according to Netflix's precious Algorithm and they're stingy as gently caress with stuff like that. If they're gonna announce something, it will hopefully be in the next six months before ComicCon, but I dunno... e: Oh poo poo I just read the official comic synopsis that flat out mentions a third season. I don't think an entity like Dark Horse Comics is bullish or stupid enough to let that slip by thier legal department without it basically being a done deal...? nine-gear crow fucked around with this message at 18:39 on Feb 14, 2025 |

Well at least this movie's actually showing him as Adam as opposed to him being in He-Man form the whole time like in the 80's film Also I'll be curious to see where they go for a third season of the Netflix show, particularly since they introduced Adora/Despara at the end of the last one (which would therefore imply that a variant of the 80's He-Man show happened in this universe but 80's She-Ra did not)

Yeah, for some reason every He-Man reboot since the 2000s ends just as it's setting up Adora's arrival. Come to think of it, are SPOP and New Adventures the only shows in this entire franchise to get something akin to a conclusive ending? At least this Hordak got to actually do something before they pulled the plug and we got Mark Hamill and William Shatner together in the same show Larryb fucked around with this message at 20:41 on Apr 20, 2025 |

Allegedly the live action She-Ra show Dreamworks was doing for Prime (which they said would be a new retelling) isn’t dead yet but I’ll be shocked if it ever actually comes out So far all we’ve got left right now is the new He-Man movie they’ve been working on

No shade against the movie, I hope it does well, but I'd rather have Revelations Part 3 at this point just to wrap up the story, even if it's just like a 90 minute animated special.

I’m hoping for more She-Ra related content period, the last 3 He-Man shows got cancelled before they could bring Adora in (or in the case of the Kevin Smith series, literally as they were bringing her in) and she’s only had two shows of her own I would love an SPOP continuation in particular but I’m not holding my breath on that (allegedly Dreamworks was working on a live action She-Ra for Amazon but we still have yet to see anything concrete, assuming the project is even still alive at all)

Dawgstar posted:The last part of Smith's stuff is done done? Shame. Basically despite people's shitfit over it, Revelation did huge numbers for what Netflix was expecting of it, then Revolution "fixed things" and gave people everything they pissed and moaned about missing from Revelation... and nobody watched it, so Netflix passed on whatever Smith was planning for a Part 3.
