Bronies got started because they wanted to make 1d cartoon horses their wives and gently caress them. Look deeply enough into any fandom and you will find porn. Critically however, the people who want gently caress and have a relationship with those characters are few and far between.

That's what bronies are at the heart; guys are afraid of real women because real women have their own wants and desires and minds, and that means they can't control them, but cartoon horsey ladies they can imagine as their perfect waifus because they have uncomplex personalities and that makes them not threatening. It's not unlike guys who want to move to Japan because in they think women are again like those anime girls that are demure and submissive.

I enjoyed MLP and I enjoyed this. I enjoy colorful characters and fantasy settings.  You probably shouldn't paint super broadly over an entire fandom. Most fandoms have their upsides and downsides, but to make broad sweeping comments like you've been making is kind of a bit hostile. Perhaps narrow it down to shitheads that hate on everything just because it's inclusive.Anyway ended up shotgunning the entire series. Entrapta is my absolute favorite character and overall I just enjoyed the exploits of the evil crew more. Scorpia being a close second in the favorite character. I wasn't expecting to like Adora since I tend to dislike leading characters in most media, but I found of the protagonists she was my favorite with the second favorite being a toss up between seahawk and bow and then stolen sharly by glorious communist horse.

Last Tuesday I slipped and hit my head and got a concussion; the following night, I came down with some weird neurological symptoms, including some fun confabulation that quickly became not fun when I told an ER doctor I had tried to kill myself and nearly ended up in a psych ward on suicide watch (I had not tried to kill myself ). Anyway, one of my weird brain delusions/waking dreams was a fully animated fan episode of She-Ra with a full orchestral score that my brain decided to write for me, involving Adora having to kill Catra in an epic duel and then use her She-Ra powers (after an extended transformation sequence that took about two full minutes because it was also basically an anime OAV) to resurrect her, at which point she joins the rebellion, and with Entrapta's help, use Light Hope's ill-defined mind projection powers to send an unconscious message back through time to just before Adora leaves the Fright Zone for the second time, only this time, Adora agrees to take Catra with her, which changes everything. Anyway, that's my story, and I also decided to update my custom title appropriately

When Adora returns to the Whispering Woods in the middle of the night, Catra offers to go with her; Adora refuses to take Catra along. That's the decision I'm referring to. Adora and Catra would have met Bow and Glimmer together, and the whole first two episodes would have played out along completely different lines.

Apparently the core of the season is going to be the opposite of last season, according to the ECCC panel. Whereas in Season 1 Catra was obsessed with Adora who was focused on being the best hero she can be, Adora will be obsessed with Catra, who is focused on being the best villain she can be. The biggest argument I've seen about the show is whether Entrapta or Scorpia is the best character. (It's Scorpia. The rest of the Super Pal Trio are #2 and 3 tho)

It's my understanding the show is already completed in terms of writing, voice work, etc. The animation just isnt completed because that takes awhile.
