I have a pet theory and Hernderson. He knows that Loid's been sneaking onto campus to spy on Anya's classes. However, because the Forgers are not an upper-class family, he just thinks he's just thinks Loid grew up poor (which admittedly, is true enough with all that happened in the war) and is just trying to help Anya get a leg up in her education. EDIT: Also and this isn't the first time something like this has happened. EDIT EDIT: Also He's fine with this, as long as it doesn't devolve down to anything as inelegant as cheating of course. i think that if henderson learned anything about loid, he'd be furious on behalf of anya. adopting an orphan to use as a tool with the intention of eventually abandoning her would instantly incite someone like henderson.

Is it just me, or did this chapter heavily hint that those two are actually a thing these days and they're just keeping it on the down-low?

Can't wait for them to become Anya's allies in trying to get Loid to kiss her mom.

It would really suck if a character was able to read minds and find out that they both still love each other.

I kinda fell off 3 times during this flashback, but the upside is being able to binge it and being able to see the wonderfully sweet conclusion. Honestly, I’d say it was worth it. I wonder how Henry’s wife died that’s her grave they visited right?

I'm glad Mr. Henderson's wife was a good person. It would have been so easy to make her just a hag for us to hate but the fact that she was an absolute sweetheart just makes it hurt more. There are no villains in this romance triangle, just unfortunate circumstances.

Would feel cheated if we don't especially given the circumstances they were married. She's either anti-war or had circumstances of her own.

A few chapters back, Henry's dad told him that his outburst against the military cost him all his marriage offers and only one person was still willing to marry him. So I figured that Henry's wife wasn't a bad person. Since you'd either have to be really desperate for a social boost or sympathetic to Henry's beliefs to marry a dude who's being dropped like a social high potato in high society.

If anything, the relationship and complications between Henderson and Martha is an allegory to the relationship and complications between countries.

Now I want to see fanart of Anya's imagination of adult Anya with loid and yor doing the "faithful ninja servant kneel" to either side of her as her adult self stands smugly with arms crossed. Possibly mounted on an armored Bond
