It's a good time but I'm not sure where it fits in the timeline It almost feels like it's an out of order adventure with no timeline implications, but there's some moments between the three of them that could almost work as end-of-anime-adaptation codas

Dead rear end thought Frankie got got at the end there. Fun chapter. I'm thinking Frankie saying he's playing with Anya for the money is cope the same way Loid says it's for the mission. Anytime he's with her he's the best uncle.

Frankie clearly enjoys being a goofy uncle but he has an idea of who he wants to be (essentially Twilight, an unflappably suave man who’s a big hit with the ladies) and it conflicts with who he actually is, an incredibly useful guy to have around and a good guy in his own right, but not the leading man

The moment an underworld fixer tries to make an escape in a giant balloon made in their own image you're legally obligated to let them go. It's just how it works.

It is completely inconceivable that our all-encompassing web of security services, informants, and even ordinary citizens encouraged to fink on each other at the drop of a hat all could have missed this perpertually-nervous guy prone to loudly blurting out suspicious things, therefore he cannot possibly be a spy. Now, the baker down the street muttering that the flour shipping into the city these days isn't as good as it used to be, that has to be code of some kind. Or at least highly treasonous. To the flour.

I am slightly worried about Frankie, I don't think he'll die or anything but it seems likely he's gonna get picked up by state intelligence at some point

I knew he wasn’t going to die since there is not a lot of build up of who is he as character besides this chapter. Him dying otherwise would have to signal a massive shift in tone for the story since, literarily, he serves as comedic relief, and there is more backstory that has been hinted at but yet explored. Nonetheless, I like how that ultimately ends. In the end, he values his own work and friends above his own happiness.
