Harrell used to do a strip about a circus troupe called Big Top that I liked better than Adam@Home, but I guess family sitcom jokes are easier to come up with.

Rob Harrell is just the illustrator for the comic. The writer and original artist is Brian Basset, the creator and artist for "Red and Rover." Originally the comic was called "Adam," and the main character used to work in an office before he became a writer; as I recall, it was still pretty bland. I believe that Harrell came on the same time the name was changed to "Adam@Home;" he was brought on so Basset can focus on "Red & Rover."
