And here's my next trick:![]() Punaniska (Redneck) was a daily comic by Harri "Wallu" Vaalio (art) and Rauli Nordberg (writing) that ran 1990-93. The art is good, but (IIRC) the jokes are mostly pretty bland and I would describe it as Hagar the Horrible in wild west. Contains some stereotypical portrayals of Native Americans and Mexicans + I saw one strip with a pickaninny kid. It doesn't seem to be particularly malign (at least considering that we had some actively racist tv shows back then), but I will probably skip some worst offenders. Unable to tell if that's a corona strip or just the usual theme of adults not having their poo poo together that Norwegian comics have.

Now to patiently await the inevitable "Dustin loves the quarantine because he's so lazy!" strips More M please if you got 'em ![]() She was a pretty non-character anyway. Only added so Greg could say there was a lesbian in there. But since we never saw her dating or met her girlfriend or anything (it only came up when she was keeping her orientation a secret from Les for grifting purposes) it really didn't matter. But I guess even one LGBT+ character, even if they never do anything, is one LGBT+ too many for this strip to handle.

Are you suggesting that Edgar Allen Poe was murdered by ravens, Ripley. I know next to nothing about The Patriot, save one time I was on a class trip and we were staying in a hotel and I saw about 5 minutes of it in a friend's room, ending when my dad was like "I think one cannonball decapitation is enough for the night" and made us go back to our own room. Why I distinctly remember this bit of a class trip when I was like, 11 is a question for the ages.

I could give it a pass if she said she was going to test out of her current classes which she took because they were really easy. It'd be a stretch, but it would be something.

i realize there's some better things i could have done in that image i posted and i wanted to write 'gilchrist' on the sicko dude's shirt instead but couldn't get it to look right but i was also using an image edit site instead of something more professional, so, whatever in any case the overt fetishes displayed in newspaper comics baffle me to this day
