I don't have strong feelings on Bogor either way (and definitely don't stop posting if you enjoy it!) but I understand what people mean by it feeling "off". For me it's his weird proportions- the gorilla arms, stubby legs, the way his head just forms out of the torso.

And considering how healthcare costs an arm and a leg in the US, you'll also have to spend a lot on medical expenses. The client probably went to see Ed in person to ask for an extension for their bill, and to show Ed that yes, they really are sick and that's why they couldn't pay.

Ed turning that around to complain about how he got sick instead makes him such a garbage human being.

Gonna play tasty.

Bogor is weird because the aesthetic and most some of the jokes are of an all ages comic. The hedgehog companion, the frock he is wearing, the character's usual demeanor and some of his expressions, all scream kid-friendly. Then I remember the "abortion as a form of protest" strip. And the bizarre and off-putting beauty competition tree stump strip. The way a lot of his interactions with the hedgehog are weirdly mean spirited.

Going back through the first handful posted, you have:

Cover - Hedgehogs and a hookah.
Pretending to conduct an orchestra
Trimming trees to give a Nazi salute
Reenacting scenes from romance novels with logs
A kinda cute lion tamer cartoon
Pissing on flowers.
Tree groping
Abortion as protest.

There is so much tonal whiplash that I cannot get a read on the comic and know what to expect. Is today's strip going to be cute? Horrifying? Mean spirited?
