He did a really great job avoiding a huge wreck early, and got a little lucky because he did get slid into with little to no damage. A quick google suggests that possibly the NCAA didn't like mixing college athletics with a pro sport, though the source for that was a diecast site, so who knows. I am surprised at what it the asking price on ebay is for one, considering I think I paid $5, but as a Nebraskan I understand that if you slap Huskers on anything some dumbass will pay for it, not to mention the collectible value of a diecast of a never-raced car.
