plus the whole being a human being yourself thing but dumbfuck stuck up kids have no idea on how much they missed out

I get really, really upset when one of my peers starts bitching about how their fast food burger was made wrong or whining about delivery tips or calling service workers 'dumb' or whatever. i treat anybody that does things for me with a lot of respect and know they get paid poo poo for it

carry on then

this. i know what a poo poo job it is and though i've never been a concierge i still chat them up when i take my dog out, crack jokes, ask them how their kids are doing, etc. sometimes i hang around them so long other residents think i work there lol

I am nice to everyone I can be, although I admit it comes from a place of godawful self esteem, I cant deal with thinking someone might be displeased or disappointed with me even if they’re a stranger I’ll never see again, and if you’re nice to someone they might smile or something which gives me a modicum of self worth for a fleeting moment

i remember really wanting water cooling poo poo when i was a dumb teen and then finding out just because it's in a closed loop in your pc that doesn't mean it won't grow poo poo in it, and as a gently caress who's pc looks like a buried desert temple when i open it even i realized that wouldn't fly

the only time i thought it might be necessary i had one of those shuttle mini-pcs. it had a 2.4 ghz northwood pentium 4 though so heat wasn't as big an issue as i thought it might be, so the gigantic rear end heatpipe it came with was fine (that was also the first time i'd seen a heatpipe, they're neat.) i was able to overclock it to 2.8 ghz and iirc it ran around 42°C

coolant has less specific heat than water. the best coolant if you're not trying to avoid boiling or freezing is good old fashioned distilled

and yes you can get anti-biological additives for PC coolers to keep the funk out

i remember outfitting my one system with fan control panels and i'd manually set it for quiet use for web surfing. that mobo also had a neat mode where it'd run the fans on low for two minutes after shutdown

I wanna say that was a barton 2800+ with a healthy overclock and eventually a gainward 9500 pro overclocked with a big passive cooler

i used to be like that re: self esteem and being nice but as i got older i realised i was owning myself by letting people be lovely to me out of a desire to be liked

now i changed my vibe that I think one of the greatest virtues someone can have is kindness and practicing mindfulness that people only have this moment so why not make it pleasant for you both

anyway gently caress u goons
