i've been playing dishonored 2 and enjoying it quite a bit! i recently did a play of hitman 3 where i finally decided that I would never save and would just improvise every time i hosed up, and based on that experience and this one it is clearly the right way to play stealth games

ugh, i gotta lean into that more, definitely a save-spammer that is obviously not good at video games just finished dishonored 1 + the dlc again so it's time to dive back into 2. friggin' love vincent d'onofrio's voice acting

I started subnautica below zero and some cheeky animal stole my scanner (!) so I chased it around trying to knife it and nearly drowned. 5 stars It feels more polished than the original but still familiar. good so far

i've always played xcom on ironman. when the save and quick load buttons have been there, though, I've always been a terrible save scummer. wish i would have figured this out sooner

You spawn in and your plane is inside another one and you both explode. You get lined up on the catapult and an AI plane taxis straight through you to use it and you both explode. You just spent 10 minutes programming your bombs and get suddenly ganked by a MiG that you didn't even pick up on the RWR. After a 40 minute startup and flight to the battle zone, your missile locks onto your wingman instead of the bad guy. The game just immediately crashes when you try to join a multiplayer server. But the one time in six that everything goes right...drat. There's nothing else like it. Launching from a carrier into a blinding rainstorm, screaming through the clouds on instruments, popping out into the blinding sun with towering cumulus around you, finding your targets with ground-mapping radar and thermal cameras, rippling off eight GPS-guided bombs at eight separate targets simultaneously, getting in a high-altitude furball and listening to your sidewinders growl as you pass in and out of the bandit's contrails, weaving and dodging until you line up for the perfect gun kill, heading back and trapping on the carrier at sunset. No other game comes close. The basic game is free and has two planes in it. Try them both and see what you think.

Lets you rack up the money really fast. I lost interest a bit after rescuing code talker, though... but at that point I had logged 30-40 hours and felt I got my  worth

my son is playing skyrim drat I remember wishing I could play that again for the first time. I forget how much is in the game. and then I realise elder scrolls 6 is going to exist. hopefully they create another decade game
