Japanese Curry is almost always neither spicy nor particularly pungent, and IMO Chicken Katsu Curry + Rice is an extremely good comfort food in cold or rainy weather. If you're going to start on a curry journey, that's my recommendation. If you have a good Japanese takeaway place near you/on uber eats etc, hit that up. edit: it's basically just fried chicken + gravy with potatoes and rice, honestly.
