I don't see anything about 3% of it reaching the intended victims, but a quick look at the page indicates a solid 1.5 million comes from like 10 people, including https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steve_Witkoff, https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kelly_Loeffler, loving Kid Rock, and I'm sure a list of other winners. Those first two are in it for half a million each so I'd be fairly certain this is a very clumsy attempt at getting more direct donations. Is that illegal?

My unsolicited opinion on the veepee debat is that Vance is a slimebag and I wish Walz had just slugged him, but absent that Vance was extremely obviously not answering any questions and Walz mostly just did what he had to do. Neither of them made any major fuckups that will last beyond the occasional giggle. If anything the lack of fact-checking and calling Vance out on his question-dodging -- ignoring when the mods broke the "rules" and did it once -- just shows that these things are where you go to make empty promises and lie about whatever because you almost surely won't be called on it.
