My personal bet is that they give AG to Doug Jones, leave him completely alone for any prosecution-level offenses, then give Kamala the record-hunting remit. Have Kamala be the internal cop for all the paperwork and poo poo Donnie's trying to hide or stuff he's kept from Congress.

I would much rather not establish the extremely dangerous precedent of new regimes imprisoning the previous regime. The right play is for the SDNY to cooperate with New York State on criminal prosecutions at the state level. It's the best of both worlds.
