What would you say is the best TV Outlet to watch for election coverage? My go-to is CNN and they've been seeming to do a nice job so far.MazelTovCocktail posted:Define he. Biden.

Also in general CNN is as close you’ll get to an even handed reporting...well compared to the other big two at least, which are more echo chamber...vs CNN at least.

Between the rednecks, Cubans, and olds, why is Florida ever even in contention for Democrats?

My personal read on it is because the state is generally insane you never know what they're going to do. They're as likely to vote for a giraffe as they are to vote for any given politician.

Pine Cone Jones posted:Ah, so my pessimism may be right and I can rid myself of any hope, excellent No, that's what the Trafalgar guy is saying and you shouldn't listen to it. Trafalgar is a *bad* pollster and they're looking for future money by biasing their results to Republicans. They were doing *constant* nonscientific poo poo with their samples. The idea is to be "right" if Republicans end up winning, then get hired by all the Republicans to do polls. The idea isn't to be right.

This is also a good point. Betting on a result even with wrong reasons and trash logic is still a win if the bet winds up paying of. I should point out it was more of this would be weird, but thinking things over after typing my answer points more to grifting then anything else.

It's absolutely incredible this isn't a blowout. That it's probably going to be close after this year is a huge win for conservatives, win or lose.

Yeah, we really needed a blowout, if only to mitigate slow counting in PA and MI. Now we’re getting the worst outcome potentially (Besides straight Trump win) what I call the “everyone cleans out guns stores starting tomorrow, even more then before.” Granted with ammo the way it is now, you might as well just clunk someone in the head with it, because you’re not getting ammo anytime soon. Also that event at Black Lives Matter Plaza is properly going to sour and/or Barr is going to call out the waffen...er Bureau of Prison people to clean house. Jesus I’m not even drinking and this is what I’m posting.

I won't hold it against them because I'm poo poo at running web pages myself. That said, even the whiskey I bought to soothe/celebrate tonight isn't doing poo poo. Basically if Biden didn’t win very fast, it will be a longer, more drawn out thing after which one of the two will win just cause of vote count methods and timelines. So no matter the results, might be a while.
