Thankfully I never had to use or eat a ham slice mre, they have lots of places on the larger Navy ships for you to sneak away with your boat boo (who is a military 7 but a civilian 4). Medical also had a bowl of condoms underway even though you're not supposed to be loving your coworkers.

I caught people more than a few times in outlying spaces when I was ship's security force underway because we'd often be walking down random passageways. They'd think they were being quiet but uh yeah, no. The more I think about it, the dumber Vance is as a pick. He's basically a stupid, less sympathetic version of Trump who says outrageous poo poo. In 2016, nobody cared about the VP choice because Clinton and Trump were still young enough it was less likely they'd die in office from natural causes. This time, however, there's a pretty good chance Vance could wind up as president - the same thing that helped tank McCain's campaign. Democrats can spend the next 4 months attacking Vance, who will gladly continue to stick his foot further in his mouth, while underscoring the fact that he's second in line for the presidency behind a dude that's 78. This lets them indirectly attack Trump without being accused of being mean to the guy who was almost just assassinated. And I guarantee the non-stop news coverage of Vance will piss off Trump.

Yeah another issue with Vance is that he's directly contradicting Trump's attempt to distance himself from Project 2025 so that's a pretty substantial issue on top of stealing attention Palin-style. I'm not sure I see him getting dumped, though. He's obviously willing to do a complete 180 on his public statements with the right motivation.
