Feels like a lot of his appeal was as an alternative to two unpopular nominees but that’s weakened so now he seems like just the anti-vaccine guy.

That coincided with Biden being out with COVID, so he did the family meeting and came to the decision late Saturday and slept on it. Bidenworld was still making calls to their delegates to stand strong, even when the withdrawal letter came out yesterday. That's part one. Part two is the Biden endorsement of Harris and the rollout. I'm not even aware of anyone running "what if?" drills or advocating for Harris in the "it's joever" statements. It was withdrawal, Biden's Harris endorsement, then everyone jumping onboard. I'd like to know just how the gently caress that was pulled off with a party that can gently caress up a two-car parade. Biden had been making vague "hey, Kamala is pretty good!" statements since the debate, I'm just curious if there was behind-the-scenes organizing or this was one big cliffdive.

It's a fire-up-the-base thing versus something you want out in the general public. It's a great time for it, as there needs to be a week or so of pure base firing-up after everyone being so down. But keep that off the teevee/ads. Though if she's asked "oh did he buy you", it would be a good time to highlight Donnie's flip flops for campaign contributions, then the hundred milly Democrats raised from small dollar donations in the last 24 hours.

I can't even parse what this will mean. Trump being seen as a democrat who switched to republican is already part of his identity, this is just a receipt to that. I don't think this is an effective attack ad, if anything it may be used as a vehicle to attack Harris for the change in politics when she transitioned from attorney general to presidential hopeful, and from there to vice president become president elect. What do you think people need to see or hear to be motivated against Trump? There's already pedophilia, fraud, rape, constant lying, and the dichotomy between him and Christian values (with the added blasphemy of comparing him to Christ while, well, being Trump). This is a man who already shits his pants and brags about it...

You're probably right this being one more drop of hypocrisy in a fecal ocean, then again it doesn't really cost anyone to tweet it out. If there isn't any one attack message that will move the needle, do what the opposition does and just flood the internet, key difference being flood it with things that are actually real. No one is getting flipped by this, but there's millions of folks out there who literally don't pay attention at all and you never know what tidbit of embarrassing info on your opponent will be the first to stick in their mind.
