Last night I played like five games with my buddy and for two of them only one of us loaded in. I solo queued arena afterwards and ended up 1v3. Altho I was kinda happy because my scrub rear end managed to take a round off of them. Didn't stop the actual TTV wraith from teabagging me at the end of the match but hey

So I know they removed the "spectator eye" thing from the UI, but can cheaters still see if you're spectating them? I got blown away on a Fragment drop in a way that I thought was really suspicious so I spectated the player and soon after I began spectating them they began avoiding fights and doing random looting stuff. Never fired another shot the whole time I was spectating them. Eventually they disconnected and briefly after their teammates disconnected as well. Normally I'd just write it off to bad luck but who drops Fragment, gets a hotdrop kill, then abruptly begins avoiding fights before disconnecting in the middle of a match? That's more suspicious than the initial gunfight was.

so far of the past 5 games i've gotten into one, which has literally never happened before, so i think that three times as much figure a pile of bullshit tbh. on pc at least i would legit eyeball it at closer to 30. edit: past 6 games. also, it's timed me out 4x and got stuck on the menu->code cloud loop 14x before i gave up. I hate to join in on the reddit hyperbole but the game really has been almost unplayable since the patch. I have not had a single match where at least one teammate didn't disconnect. Most of the time they can re-join but even in those situations any sort of hot drop is off the table.

Mostly here-say, but it was rumoured that changing your pose to a non-animated one helps with the connection issues. I tried it out this morning and successfully played out 5/5 games when I usually only got half of that. I only had one teammate with an animated banner in that time too. Give it a try and see if it improves? I will say that the games were still choppy with a small amount of rubberbanding, but not to the extent they were earlier in the week.

I haven’t played in a couple of days but I’ve been playing arenas all night on my XboneX and only my first match wasn’t 3v3 (immediately after typing that went I 2v3  ). I don’t want to dismiss the rest of y’all’s experiences that sucks. I do have some event BR I may take on, so we’ll see if that’s different. Otherwise I’m enjoying the Rampart takeover.

The arenas flash events didn't increase the popularity of arenas so now they broke BR to get people playing it

There are multiple people in this thread who have migrated to only arenas, you see tons of new players of varying skill in arenas, there are people online who left the game because they hated the BR fad coming back because of arenas, but yeah, arenas is actually unpopulated and everyone hates it good detective work fellas. The frequent flash events are to trick all those players into playing more. Get them invested in the skin economy instead of just playing a 3v3 with good movement and gunplay. They don't just want engagement numbers they want store engagement as well from them and the flash events are an easy and acceptable way to funnel people towards that.

I'm not dismissing anyone's experience, but things are mostly smooth for me on XSX playing solo with mostly default skins and such. I've had some people DC on me and one arena match that lagged out, but nothing else since the event.

However, it still feels like your character is running through molasses until a bunch of people are killed.
