They should revert it back to the launch map IMO, it's almost only gotten worse with updates. When Apex launched KC felt like a real place: an abandoned science fiction settlement where every location had an in-universe purpose for existing. I don't understand why every map has to be a carnival filled with flashy, ill-fitting McDonald's playplaces.

I love og kings canyon, because it was and still is the best BR map across any game I've played for engagements not in a POI. There's basically interesting geometry to fight around everywhere. As Apex has evolved it's gone more in the direction of "here is where engagements should happen, and here is where you will die if someone shows up while rotating"

We’ve outgrown King’s Canyon because people understand how to maximize mobility abilities and the game revolves around third partying.

I have no idea how you would make BRs not revolve around third partying without some kind of lockout gates or something. It's almost like there's a mode that guarantees you only ever fight one other team in a single POI at a time

wouldn't that just cause a PvE third party? that just adds to the chaos it doesn't improve it. which imo i prefer third, forth and even fifth parties are my favourite part of this game.

when a PvE encounter starts, all squads get locked into the POI until all waves get mopped and have to use the power of friendship to keep each other alive.

I would play the poo poo out of a PVE mode that was a looter shooter with Monster Hunter style boss fights. Give everyone path grapple and valk jets and giant monsters to climb and fight on.

KC is a total buzzkill for me, if it comes up in the rotation I just stop playing. Part of the reason I'm pumped for next season is because I won't have to play KC for an entire season.

Anyone else experience some extreme fps drops since the last update? My buddy, with whom I've played regularly in the past, is now getting 9 fps in-game and it's just a shitshow. He's tried a full reinstall of the game, driver updates, and setting the game to performance mode in windows; all to no avail.

IMO you should get some sort of mark of shame for leaving a match that your teammates go on to win. Especially when you hotdrop like a retard and disconnect on knock NOTE: Discord-hosted image links (like this one) expire approximately 24hrs after they were copied from Discord. Dropped three dudes in the final fight with a sniper then went on to win the 1v1 against the champion Horizon  (USER WAS PUT ON PROBATION FOR THIS POST)

If you wanted to roll around 3rd partying people you had to drive around in a loud car people could hear before they could see. So find some way to make it so the faster you go, the louder you are.

Probably say Olympus is my least favourite of the current maps right now. There's definitely parts I dislike about the other maps, but way less than Olympus. Estates, the waterfalls/grass fields that reduce my FPS to single digits, the underwhelming additions of Icarus and Fight Night just make me groan when it's the current map.
