Random question but does anyone know why shadowplay wouldn't capture my mic? It's the only game that doesn't otherwise I'd figure I had mic set not to record. It's been a thing on two different PCs now.

It seems like if you take the TP into the IMC Armory (i.e. join it after your team has started), you lose the ability to mantle for the rest of the game. So I guess try to avoid doing that. I was so confused how I suddenly became utterly incompetent until I realized.

I had that issue but I never went in an IMC armory that game AND it was only on the trench walls. Could mantle other objects, v weird.

Fun fact, if you have a octane or horizon you can drive a trident on top of the robot box and prevent the team from using the jump pad to fly out because they will just bonk their heads.

I think we’re gonna find out other stuff triggers it. I was playing last night and could climb walls but not mantle over the top. I failed like four times trying to climb a low railing and my teammates were laughing watching it. I didn’t go in the imc thing at all.

I had the same problem because i have a "game audio" and a "chat audio", which the headset has a volume dial on so i can adjust mid fight if someone jumps into discord and won't stfu while i'm fighting. Setting them to the same thing disables that ability, but records my voice. Also on that note goons, if you're on the discord and you jump into a channel, check if people are fighting before you start talking about random poo poo. I'm polite if i don't know who you are and won't tell you to shut up (If I know you, you'll hear it, you loud fucks  ), but I do actually like hearing footsteps mid fight, thanks :P

It's incredibly inaccurate without firing for a few seconds and she is a sitting duck if you are able to just shoot at a nearly immobile target, especially if she has to rev up first. If you are running straight into her mini gun behind a amped shield then you kinda deserve to die though.

It's genuinely funny to be playing Apex with a friend who's more or less as mechanically competent at FPSing as I am, but who has never stopped playing tons of Apex since it came out; the game sense gap is enormous. For example, I always play Blood hunter and essentially just make my Q scan available for his call outs, it's more his power than mine. Did play some Gibraltar last night and dropping the dome and the mortar together is still fantastic.

It's been a thing on two different PCs now. Shadowplay has the option to record game audio and mic audio to separate audio tracks, do you have that enabled? If you do the mic audio might be in there after all, but your player is just defaulting to the game audio track

You can also PK peek if your aim is good because your burst should beat the spin up time, so long as she isn't actively firing when you peek. Rampart is still basically trash tier but that means she's played so little that she catches a lot of people out. Castles wall's stop her pretty handily now too.

I dunno, I caught a squad that was behind a Newcastle ult while I was behind an amp barrier: chewed through two of the segments and wiped the squad with a single magazine. That was a best case scenario though, with teammates applying pressure.

I am already sick and tired of 3/4ths of the server dropping Fragment or Fragment adjacent. Unless the dropship is on the literal other side of the map, and countdown or skyhook is right there I guess. Lava Siphon as an option too.

wtf, I played against a full hacker team of 3 in bronze.... They were so stupid that 2 of them somehow managed to get downed even though they were aimbotting. The third also almost died because he decided to run straight through a gibby ult. It's amazing how stupid and bad some players can be. edit: I was spectating them and they ended up losing the game in 6th place... they died to the zone... one guy died to zone. Wraith went in to get his banner, was too stupid to think about using her ult. I played some Arena last night and I think PK and TT are my go to load out now. Also, while my DPS on the bow isn't actually any good, it's pretty satisfying to Hanzo out some arrows at extreme range, not so much at an enemy as towards the general likely terrain features they're peeking, and occasionally see some 60 damage pop ups. And, since you spend so little time exposed because you're not stopping to aim, you can come out ahead (against bad players that aren't going to snipe you as you keep repeaking)
