I thought the idea would be pretty popular amongst folks, I'm surprised so many think it would work out that way. If folks could craft banners after they've timed out, I think there are enough variables and uncertainty that it wouldn't make sense to do the "one in safety" strat. Relying on crafting (200 mats or more if you wanted to respawn two people!), relying on finding a suitable beacon (or crafting your own, even more mats!), relying on a SAFE respawn, and being able to re-kit two people in time to reengage without being found and having to do it all over again just doesn't seem viable. You'd be able to do it maybe once and that is only if you say, died IMMEDIATELY, and another person was off at a crafter before other teams found and engaged you. The most common outcome is that all you'd be doing is feeding other teams free RP as you die immediately and then die again. It simply leaves open a window to still have folks engaged and attempting to play rather than going afk once their banner times out.

So I have a new idea for a crypto passive buff that I've yet to see mentioned before. It's called Off The Grid. Basically crypto is no longer affected by enemy scans. How it would work is that if you are scanned by an enemy, crypto would not be scanned. So if you have a bloodhound, and the bloodhound scans you, you wouldn't be scanned. Same with a Seer. If you get twerked on by Lil Seer X and he shoves his micro drones up uranus, you wouldn't be scanned or detected by Seer. So enemy scans don't scan you. And this would work for all scan abilities. The anti scan if you will. This would work with balancing and lore wise because crypto is a hacker and his whole premise is staying undetected and "off the grid" (the name of the ability) . Let me know what you guys think

Oooh yeah let's do dream character updates, that's more fun than this stupid banner chat. Let Loba snatch banners from Ult. And let her open extra compartments on blue pills already. Also fix her bracelet. Give her a finisher where she cries a single tear when she finishes Valk (maybe kiss goodbye??? lore???) Also let Gibby buttslam people by jumping over them and hitting crouch to buttslam them. Enemies phase inside of him and give him energy to become a bigger boy with more damage resistance. If you go inside Gibster you gotta play a pipe maze mini game to get out of him and if you lose you gotta wait until he gets someone else and then Gulag against the other player to get outta him. Make Lifeline's passive that if you pick her it just deletes her from the game because lol she sucks. Give bald wraiths a passive that they go 5% faster because she's more aerodynamic. Hmmmm what else. Valk should have a custom flight animation where any time she Ults with Loba they hug (maybe kiss??? lore???) as they fly up. OK that's all for now I think.

While it is at least a novel idea. it really doesn't sound very fun. Setting aside how impatient players will still just dc in unranked anyway, in ranked it'll add another layer of things for people to be toxic about. IMO it just sounds boring and tedious. Being able to craft banners doesn't really add anything meaningful to the game. In fact it takes away a number of choices that cause interactions between players, and not in a fun way as had already been pointed out. But for those non toxic ones, it gives a chance to keep playing the game. I actually have Bill Respawn on the other line and they seem receptive to the idea, expect to see it in the next patch. Re: legend updates, every time we have to hear one of Newcastles cringey dad lines, everyone that can hear it takes 1 hit point of damage. Not shields, directly to health.

Tac is he has a tube of tennis balls (3) that he can throw to summon a prowler (1 per tennis ball). Can be thrown at enemies to make prowler fight bad people. If prowlers are merc'd they phase shift out of existence (NO KILL THE PETS PLZ). After you are out of tennis balls you gotta pick up the old tennis balls off the ground or craft more at crafter. Ult is whistle that pulls all enemy wildlife in area towards enemies. Passive is not being attacked by wildlife and ability to pet wildlife for health and possibly attachment drop because they are so pleased with pets.

Stupid idea that would never work: Ultimate is a chaff grenade that replaces all models with the Spectre model and friendly fire is turned on. All kills get rewarded to the legend who used it. Stupid idea that would work: Ultimate is being able to craft any attachment or hop up onto any gun. Boosted Loader P2020 with sniper stock and supressor Turbocharger Charge Rifle Scattershot Devotion Deadeye Tempo Mastiff Double Tap Trigger Wingman

Make it super slow to charge, only lasts 60 seconds. Give it that semi-auto 40mm? cannon i forgot what it's called. Obviously it can't follow in a lot of the areas on these maps but just think about how cute it'd be trying to pathway around to you while thud thudding. It's nice to dream.

There's absolutely no way to balance a titan ult, but there COULD be a special titan themed map/mode where there are a limited number of damaged titans you can work to bring online, with the final ring culminating in a titan brawl both supported and opposed by teamsl members that couldn't get one. Spread the various parts out to make teams either go fetch them, or camp the titan frames, etc etc.

Ooh are we doing dumb ult ideas? Mine is you get to see everyone on the servers (or, fine, in a huge rear end aoe) pings for like 30 seconds. Both on screen and in the map. People affected know they are, and if they don't ping every, idk 5 seconds they get revealed somehow. It would probably completely ruin the game, but it also would be very annoying.

Am I wrong in thinking that lifelines abilities are a bit under utilized in Arena? Or am I sleeping on just how powerful her automated revive and heal are? I know that, as was pointed out earlier in ranked discussion, guns and gun play matter far, far more than character, but I'd be curious to hear how people think the various kits work in Arena vs Royale. I'm sure I'm being secret MMR'd into bronze or silver Arena btw, so please feel free to mention high level comparisons but it may be less applicable to me personally.

Potential to revive is a very real advantage to her in Arena. This however is shared and better utilised by the MvP of Apex: Mirage. Gold backpack that bad boy every round and you'll carry the team to wins.

Arenas is just a teamfight where you know you won't be 3rd partied. As such in the higher lobbies people instantly w when they get a man advantage which makes it hard to get value from lifeline or any of the other res heroes.
