btw, a key aspect of mouse acceleration is to understand that you use it with a cap. the cap limits the amount of acceleration added based on your movement speed. what this means in effect is that you set your cap at whatever speed is most comfortable for flicks. this means that your flick aim is the same, effectively, as having no mouse acceleration, and so any 'muscle memory' you have for flicks stays consistent and never changes. what does change is the aiming between flick and non-flicks, which is what makes interaccel so godly. you can also consider the cap as the 'highest dpi you can feasibly handle'

Longbow owns for flanking and catching people rotating, whereas the sentinel, noted "bad gun" is probably better in a straight push. Fuse is my favourite character in the game. I don't think he's "good" but he's a shitton of fun and gives you options that feel powerful and fun to use, which is ideal for me. Quite a few goons have said to me "oh don't go in, we're not in position to third party" and i've been able to shrug and go "fair enough", lobbing 12 nades, an ult and two knuckle clusters instead

Had my first game ever where the ring closed fully. last ring on a point with above and below-ground spaces on KC between labs and capacitor, right next to the portal. Gibby and Bangalore on my team camped up in the labs tunnel seemingly asap and kept the other team outside while we waited for it to close. Then, as the ring was closing, we ran to the back, listened to the other team scurry around above us, THEY BOTH ULTED TOO EARLY, got knockdowns a good 30 seconds before the ring converged, and we lost to their lifeline being able to out-survive us. dumbest thing I've ever seen.

It's more like a beefier version of the Scout and Repeater. One unfortunate difference is that Longbow uses sniper ammo which means you need to carry a stack of that, where if you carry Scout and Repeater along with your R99 or Spitfire then you can get away with holding only one kind of ammo. Do guns have different projectile sizes? Aside from the obvious ones (TT and L Star). It feels like the longbow bullet is generously big. On that note though, I finally got the L Star to click for me. You basically want to treat it as a kind of burst shotgun.

I think someone posted it the other day but the problem with the Longbow is they never updated the bullet velocity/drop when they changed its ammo type from heavy to sniper.

I mean the scouts main problem is that before you get the skull piercer its outclassed by the triple take. After you get the skull piercer its still way easier to just get some hits on with the triple take. The triple take is by far the best sniper outside of the the special care package ones though, so its not really a fair comparison.

Longbow definitely pierces enemies, not sure about the sentinel but I assume it does. If you aim for their knees/legs as they're picking them up you'll hit both.

The end-of-match screen showing Kills/Assists/Knocks is going to take some getting used to. I like it in theory, it’s just very busy visually. It’ll definitely be nice to see more than just a zero after an unlucky match. The kinds where you have tons of damage but someone else always seems to get the last hit, or hot drops where you get a bunch of knocks but your team gets wiped before any of them turn into kills. Speaking of kill stealing, I just won a match with 2 kills and only 23 damage. New personal damage-to-kills record.
