It's very, very easy to tell when a non-Australian tries to do one of our accents so I was sure Fuse's VA was actually Australian the first time I heard him, even if he was turning it up a bit. I also would be astounded if they didn't let him ad-lib some of those lines as I can't imagine anyone who isn't very familiar with Australian-isms could have come up with some of them (like "That's a prezzie for Fuzie"). I'm pretty sure I heard him say 'How's the serenity?' on a drop once but when I went back and checked his emote wheel I couldn't see that line.

You could just make it prevent teammates from picking up the item for 30 seconds unless you were downed or dead in that timeframe. Would it cause problems in rare cases? Yes absolutely. Would it solve this sort of thing? Almost 100%.

Worst pubbie behaviour I've had was the octane who didn't do poo poo in bloodhounds trials but wait until the final alcove opened before throwing a jump pad underneath me and the other dude and taking all the loot. Was impressively lovely tbh.

He definitely does say that, I just heard it. It's not an emote, it plays when you drop from the ship as jump master.

By beautiful happenstance, I happened to get my new pc up and running the first day of this new season. And after a rough first day getting used to mouse and keyboard it's been going mostly well!   Of course after a few games like that I've suddenly been thrown into pred lobbies. Seriously though, I went from games where half of the people I'm shooting at just stand still to being teamed up with people with masters trails. I'm not even level 20 yet!  And while I'm not holding my breath, I am hoping for cross progress at some point, I miss my obnoxious Horizon cyberpunk skin (and having Horizon for that matter...)

I like how big King's Canyon is, and because of its large size it actually makes the first 1-2 rings pretty relevant. On Olympus you can easily ignore the first ring with zero impact on gameplay flow. That hillside base next to Containment though is the biggest goddamn trap in the entire game. Every time I've gone there I've ended up wiped. It SEEMS defensible but you're super vulnerable from both below and above, and I suspect there's something going on with the acoustics there because I've never not seen a third+ squad show up after some fighting there.

I loving hate it when you spend the whole game scrounging for ammo because you use it all wiping whole squads, only for your teammates to rush in and pick the deathboxes clean while you heal up.

I like that pinging ammo requests now shows you how much existing ammo you have. if you wanted to be real greedy you can drop all the ammo you're requesting, send a ping so it says "0", then pick it back up

I've already had several matches where I requested ammo like 7 times, having zero ammo, and both my teammates having plenty of it. I think part of the problem might be that most people don't know you can drop 20 ammo with X rather than dropping the whole stack. I have to assume lots of pubbies don't know that.

KC was definitely the smallest map last season. It’s a little bigger this season but WE is probably the best map for not getting third parties all the time because Olympus has vehicles which make the pacing of the game faster.

Really? I feel like I'm always having to haul rear end to get to the next ring on KC, whereas in Olympus I basically never thought about the ring ever. I think part of it is Olympus is really flat whereas in KC you always have to weave around various mountains.
