I'm just in awe of a tax system where they just tell you what you owe because I'm assuming there's no bullshit tax preparation industry in NZ like there is in the US.

A few years ago the images that accompanied old onion articles were lost, which were critical to many classic stories. Recently they fixed that so that’s good. It’s not a lot, but it’s enough sometimes. Found a turtle trying to cross a road, so I moved my dude into the brush in their direction of travel.

I officially passed 65 pounds lost and weigh 250 for the first time in 10 years. If I can keep it up (and I have every reason to think I can), I’ll enter weight territory I haven’t been in since college, some 15ish years ago. 220 is my high school weight so there’s that to look forward to as well. A “healthy” weight for someone my age and height is about 190ish (and that’s my end goal. Finally feels within reach and  )

I can see my belly finally receding beyond just in proportion to my overall weight loss. That’s a recent development. Still pudgy around the middle but I’m closing in on dad bod instead of beer gut.
