I got lucky as hell that I narrowed down the last letter to two options and a random guess that I also wasn't sure was a word turned out to give me four of the letters. Even then I tried literally every other letter for the first letter before it accepted a valid word, which of course was the answer. Just loving stupid, but I got it, so whatever.
