Bloody Mary's are one of the few drinks I actively miss. Should get some tomato juice and just make virgin marys or something I guess.

you know those gun-style thermometers they have now where you stick 'em in the ear or on the forehead? can you use those for yourself, or do you have to be looking at the display while it's shooting?

If you say bloody mary in the mirror 3 times she appears and gives you a cocktail

Multicenter, double-blind, randomized, parallel-group, placebo-controlled, single-dose study. A total of 1555 migraineurs were included in the analysis. i like that "people who have migraines" has a fancy name. makes me feel special

cjs this team we work with may be the worst, most clueless, most incompetent yet indignant and bossy team I’ve ever seen and I have a lot of work to do looking myself over and seeing how they’ve poisoned the well with how I feel about my job
|
![]() |
|
this team pisses me off and makes me frustrated whenever I work with them I have had a bad, frustrating experience working with the team and am now automatically falling back to resentment suspicion and a lack of patience as a result if I want to feel better either the team needs to rework itself and learn both how to communicate well and know their poo poo, or I need to start doing work with a totally different team. neither of these things I’m in control of. so my only option is handling my own emotions whenever I deal with them. it is true that I get frustrated and annoyed with them quickly, that is undeniable. I know it is not personal but it still bothers me. maybe my best bet is to remember that this entire project is bullshit that has not been well organized or run, and cultivate a measure of detachment towards this project as a result. it is not my responsibility to make this project go well, I will simply help out as expected of me - some manager can suffer instead. so going forward im just going to repeat to myself “this project is a lost cause anyway so whatever” whenever the team confuses or annoys me
