From Beyond (1986) Very cool, great nasty effects, break neck pacing, and horny as hell.

Brothers. I'll watch nearly any comedy until the obvious CG ape business begins and then I'm done. I was reminded of the Always Sunny season 15 episode where they replace Sweet Dee with a CG monkey. ruins it every time for me.

Island Claws (1980) - a delightfully silly giant crab monster. Most of the movie is normal crabs slowly crawling at people who are somehow frightened into killing themselves, but the movie pays out at the end. |

Alien: Covenant it's a prequel to the original. an interesting thought experiment in AI development and also quite grotesque ![]()

The Deliverance with Glenn Close directed by Lee Daniels. It was pretty good, especially the first half that dealt more in the horror/dread of poverty with a demon story on the side. that one gets a jeremor two thumbs up

just finished See How They Run right before it went off Prime, it was a pretty good adaptation of Agatha Christie's The Mousetrap. it's got Saoirse Ronan and Sam Rockwell and they're both delightful in it edit: got the name of the movie wrong because it's past midnight and I'm sleepy, it's actually called See HOW They Run, not See Them Run still close enough Rags to Liches fucked around with this message at 05:26 on Nov 1, 2024 |

I wouldn't say super creepy it's more of a fun, weird monsters under the bed fantasy comedy that gives you tonal whiplash between drama irl with the kids' family then hyperactive howie mandell going apeshit to the point it's too much and kinda cringe/cheesy I guess some of the monster designs are creepy, especially if you watched it as a kid I had fun with it overall though

Glen or Glenda. ive seen it before with the rifftrax guys but this was the first time i'd watched it without any commentary. I actually was surprised at how compelling and progressive it was. |
