10 cloverfield lane. I'd seen it before but it's still a hard watch, also I'd apparently completely forgotten how it ends.

Freaky Tales was very fun and I recommend going into it cold. it's a series of short, interconnected vignettes happening across one weird day in 1987 Oakland

Nettle Soup

Oh, and Jones was there too.

Tokyo Godfathers, good and silly film. Made me feel very emotional for what I can only assume to be hormonal reasons right now.

I went to a drive in with my father and saw a movie which is very rare for me. My expectations were extremely low because I do not enjoy most movies. It was 28 Years Later, and let me tell you, it was actually loving really good. I had seen 28 Days Later many years ago and I described it to my father as being a zombie movie that was more about humanity than zombies and it was a movie that I had actually enjoyed. I'd describe it as something of a thriller though. 28 Years Later was even more focused on the human condition than 28 Days later, and I liked it even more than 28 Days Later. I wouldn't really call it a thriller like Days. I don't want to spoil any of it but it slapped. Most movies are rehashed bullshit, 28 Years Later was actually something unique and special.

Nettle Soup

Awesome, they're both great films and I should watch them again. 28 days later was one of the first DVDs I bought with my own money.

I watched Midnight Diner. I really like this genre of kind of slice-of-life Japanese films. Googling it, I didn't realise there was a series, maybe I should grab that.

the series is really good. There are little blurbs about how to make the dishes featured in the episode at the end of each one.

ahhh man I've been wanting to watch that with my wife, but she's gotta be in the mood for subtitles

the only footage I've seen from it was from a music video but it looks beautiful.

lately I've been wanting to watch Air Doll again. A very touching Japanese story about a sentient blow up doll.

Not a movie but I've been trying to watch one episode of Twin Peaks a day, to simulate watching it on TV in the 90s. It's really, really compelling and I'm having fun picking apart all the symbolism and elements of magical realism, as well as trying to keep track of all the threads of secrecy between all the different characters.

HELLOMYNAMEIS___

i watched techno police 21c.

HELLOMYNAMEIS___

camp x-ray. reminded me of boys of abu ghraib, with the "unlikely friendship" theme.

the soldiers ended their roll calls with the challenge-response of "honor bound -- to defend freedom", which i found funny. prison guards in the defense of freedom!

I thought that movie was pretty good and fun, but overhyped, at least based off how much my irl friends built it up and reacted to it, but if you're talking about the timeskip the character interaction in it was great in my book and definitely added to the movie

when I was like 15 my dad sent me to the only video rental place/gas station in town.

I saw famous faces on this one newly rentable movie called The Birdcage.

I proudly returned home ready for another hilarious Nathan Lane experience w/ my hardcore Christian Bible Belt famil.

we made it 11 minutes in before Eject was pressed and I was sent to bed with no explanation.

I'm still straight or w/e but I'm gonna watch that poo poo to completion TONIGHT :twisted::koos::hehe::evil::moreevil::regd10::devilchild::bones::evilbuddy::gay::rory:
